2022-12-22ddr: fsl: Remove CONFIG_MEM_INIT_VALUETom Rini1-1/+0
The way all of the memory init code here works is that we pass 0xDEADBEEF around for the initial value (as it's a well known 'poison' value and so easily recognized in debuggers, etc). 2021-12-27Finish conversion of CONFIG_SYS_CLK_FREQ to KconfigTom Rini1-9/+1
In order to finish moving this symbol to Kconfig for all platforms, we need to do a few more things. First, for all platforms that define this to a function, introduce CONFIG_DYNAMIC_SYS_CLK_FREQ, similar to CONFIG_DYNAMIC_DDR_CLK_FREQ and populate clock_legacy.h. This entails also switching all users from CONFIG_SYS_CLK_FREQ to get_board_sys_clk() and updating a few preprocessor tests. With that done, all platforms that define a value here can be converted to Kconfig, and a fall-back of zero is sufficiently safe to use (and what is used today in cases where code may or may not have this available). As this symbol can either be a fixed value or the function get_board_ddr_clk, migration is tricky. Introduce a choice of DYNAMIC or STATIC_DDR_CLK_FREQ. If DYNAMIC, we continue to use the board defined get_board_ddr_clk function. If STATIC, set CONFIG_DDR_CLK_FREQ to that value and now include/clock_legacy.h contains the function prototype or defines get_board_ddr_clk() to that static value. 2021-03-05arm: fsl: common: Improve NXP VID driver PMBus supportStephen Carlson1-6/+0
This patch adds support for more PMBus compatible devices to the NXP drivers for its QorIQ family devices. At runtime, the voltage regulator is queried over I2C, and the required voltage multiplier determined. This change supports the DIRECT and LINEAR PMBus voltage reporting modes. Previously, the driver only supported a few specific devices such as the IR36021 and LTC3882, so this change allows the QorIQ series to be used with a much larger variety of core voltage regulator devices. checkpatch warning "Use if (IS_DEFINED (...))" was ignored to maintain consistency with the existing code.
