2012-03-03ARM: S3C2440: move mach-s3c2440/* into mach-s3c24xx/Kukjin Kim1-491/+0
This patch moves S3C2440 stuff into mach-s3c24xx/ directory so that we can merge the s3c24 series' directories to the just one mach-s3c24xx/ directory. And this patch is including following. - re-ordered alphabetically by option text at Kconfig and Makefile Cc: Ben Dooks <ben-linux@fluff.org> Signed-off-by: Kukjin Kim <kgene.kim@samsung.com>
2012-01-07Merge branch 'depends/rmk/for-linus' into samsung/dtArnd Bergmann1-0/+3
Conflicts: arch/arm/mach-exynos/Makefile arch/arm/mach-exynos/cpu.c -> common.c arch/arm/mach-exynos/include/mach/entry-macro.S arch/arm/mach-exynos/init.c -> common.c arch/arm/mach-s5p64x0/init.c -> common.c arch/arm/mach-s5pv210/init.c -> common.c Multiple files were moved into common.c files in the rmk/for-linus branch, so this moves over the samsung/dt changes to the new files. 2010-10-20arm: remove machine_desc.io_pg_offst and .phys_ioNicolas Pitre1-2/+0
Since we're now using addruart to establish the debug mapping, we can remove the io_pg_offst and phys_io members of struct machine_desc. The various declarations were removed using the following script: grep -rl MACHINE_START arch/arm | xargs \ sed -i '/MACHINE_START/,/MACHINE_END/ { /\.\(phys_io\|io_pg_offst\)/d }' [ Initial patch was from Jeremy Kerr, example script from Russell King ] Signed-off-by: Nicolas Pitre <nicolas.pitre@linaro.org> Acked-by: Eric Miao <eric.miao at canonical.com>

2009-12-01ARM: S3C: Fix Simtec copyright statements in Documentation/S3C24XXBen Dooks1-2/+2
The (c) alone is not a sufficient copyright statement, nor is it a good replacement for the proper encircled © symbol [1]. Add the word copyright to the apropriate places and remove the (c) symbol. [1] http://www.copyrightservice.co.uk/copyright/p03_copyright_notices section 4 'What does a notice consist of?' 2009-05-18[ARM] S3C24XX: GPIO: Change to macros for GPIO numberingBen Dooks1-1/+1
Prepare to remove the large number of S3C2410_GPxn defines by moving to S3C2410_GPx(n) in arch/arm. The following perl was used to change the files: perl -pi~ -e 's/S3C2410_GP([A-Z])([0-9]+)([^_^0-9])/S3C2410_GP\1\(\2\)\3/g' Signed-off-by: Ben Dooks <ben-linux@fluff.org>
2009-05-18[ARM] S3C24XX: GPIO: Move gpio functions out of <mach/hardware.h>Ben Dooks1-0/+1
Move all the gpio functions out of <mach/hardware.h> as this file is for defining the generic IO base addresses for the kernel IO calls. Make a new header <mach/gpio-fns.h> to take this and include it via the chain from <linux/gpio.h> which is what most of these files should be using (and will be changed as soon as possible). Note, this does make minor changes to some drivers but should not mess up any pending merges. 2008-07-15[ARM] S3C24XX: s3c243xx_clock_register() data can be __initdataBen Dooks1-1/+1
Any data being passed to s3c243xx_clock_register() can be marked as __initdata as it is an array of pointers to 'struct clk' that are to be registered on initialisation. The s3c243xx_clock_register function uses this array to register clocks and does not require it to stay around after exit. Signed-off-by: Ben Dooks <ben-linux@fluff.org>
2008-07-03[ARM] ANUBIS: Add i2c device list to Simtec AnubisBen Dooks1-1/+14

2008-04-17[ARM] 4986/1: S3C24XX: Simtec machines need UCLK as parent to DCLKBen Dooks1-2/+2
All current Simtec designs source the DCLK outputs from the UPLL. This means the DCLK's parent must be set to UPLL so that anything enabling and disabling an UPLL sourced clock does not shutdown the DCLK due to missing open counts. 2007-07-22[ARM] 4508/1: S3C: Move items to include/asm-arm/plat-s3cBen Dooks1-2/+2
This patch moves items of the s3c24xx support into a new plat-s3c directory for items that use the s3c24xx support but are not directly s3c24xx compatible, such as the s3c2400 and s3c6400. git mv commands: git mv include/asm-arm/arch-s3c2410/iic.h include/asm-arm/plat-s3c/iic.h git mv include/asm-arm/arch-s3c2410/nand.h include/asm-arm/plat-s3c/nand.h git mv include/asm-arm/arch-s3c2410/regs-iic.h include/asm-arm/plat-s3c/regs-iic.h git mv include/asm-arm/arch-s3c2410/regs-nand.h include/asm-arm/plat-s3c/regs-nand.h git mv include/asm-arm/arch-s3c2410/regs-rtc.h include/asm-arm/plat-s3c/regs-rtc.h git mv include/asm-arm/arch-s3c2410/regs-serial.h include/asm-arm/plat-s3c/regs-serial.h git mv include/asm-arm/arch-s3c2410/regs-timer.h include/asm-arm/plat-s3c/regs-timer.h git mv include/asm-arm/arch-s3c2410/regs-watchdog.h include/asm-arm/plat-s3c/regs-watchdog.h Signed-off-by: Ben Dooks <ben-linux@fluff.org> Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2007-07-12[ARM] 4469/1: ANUBIS: large page NAND supportBen Dooks1-2/+34
Add support for the partition layour used on the revision B modules which ship with large page NAND flash as default. The differnce between the old and new layouts is that the large page devices use 128KiB blocks, so the initial loader partition now ends at 128KiB boundary pushing the begining of partition 1 up. The rest of the partitions are in the same place as the small page NAND devices. Signed-off-by: Ben Dooks <ben-linux@fluff.org> Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2007-07-12[ARM] 4468/2: ANUBIS: Add SM501 device resourcesBen Dooks1-0/+70
