1. copy clewarewatchdog to /etc/init.d
2. enable the watchdog:
RedHat/SuSE: chkconfig --level 12345 clewarewatchdog on
Debian/Ubuntu: update-rc.d clewarewatchdog start 1 1 2 3 4 5 . stop 99 1 2 3 4 5 .
3. physically install the watchdog, of course one needs
to reboot the computer to accomplish this
