2024-10-04Update directories for new name of TF-A directoriesPeter Robinson2-4/+4
The TF-A URL was updated, as a result the name of the directory changed as part of the new git URL and not all the referenced directories were updated. Fixes: 0ec0207fe07 ("Update the ARM trusted firmware git URL") Signed-off-by: Peter Robinson <pbrobinson@gmail.com>

2024-09-25arm: imx: Enable always-on regulators using board specific workaround on ↵Marek Vasut2-0/+6
DHCOM SoM U-Boot is currently unable to automatically enable regulators which contain DT property regulator-always-on or regulator-boot-on. There is an ongoing work to add this functionality to regulator core code, but until the proper solution lands, add this awful workaround code to force these regulators on. This is specifically needed to assure the VIO regulator used to supply ethernet magnetics is enabled. Signed-off-by: Marek Vasut <marex@denx.de>

2024-09-03arm: mvebu: turris_omnia: Switch DDR speed to 1333H when reset 9 is selectedMarek Behún1-13/+77
Users experiencing random kernel crashes due to new versions of Marvell's DDR training algorithm can solve the issue by setting DDR speed to 1333H. But if kernel crashes, it has to be done in U-Boot, which is impossible without UART connection. In order to make it easier for users, use the rescue button mechanism: when rescue mode 9 is selected (that is when 10 LEDs are ON), U-Boot will train DDR in 1333H mode and also update EEPROM so that subsequent boot will use this mode. User has to use the `eeprom` command in U-Boot or `omnia-eeprom` command in OS to switch back to 1600K mode. Signed-off-by: Marek Behún <kabel@kernel.org> Reviewed-by: Stefan Roese <sr@denx.de>

Notable peripherals are the 4 SATA ports, M.2 M-Key slot, M.2 E-key slot, 2*2.5Gb PCIe-connected Ethernet NICs. Display options are 2*HDMI, DP via USB-c, eDP + 2*DSI via PCB connectors. USB ports are 4*USB3 + 2*USB2 on the back panel and 2-port front-panel connector. This updates the "old style" DTs to that of Linux v6.10, matching what OF_UPSTREAM is at now. Hopefully we won't need to do this (manually) anymore. Since this brings in the DT for a new board (Tanix TX1), also add the defconfig for that, which has just been waiting for that sync. There are three more fixes: two for the SPI clock setup, which avoids too high frequencies in some cases, and one fix to avoid a build warning with GCC 14 for the sunxi TOC0 part of the mkimage tool. The gitlab CI passed, and I tested the SPI flash on the OrangePi Zero 3 and also booted that into Linux.

The Tanix TX1 is a tiny TV box, featuring the Allwinner H313 SoC with up to 2GB of DRAM and 16GB of eMMC. There is no SD card or Ethernet port on this small device, but it can be booted via the USB debug "FEL" mode. The bootloader could then be written to the eMMC. Add the defconfig for that board, and add the devicetree file to the Makefile, for it to be built. The DRAM parameters were taken from the vendor firmware on the eMMC. 2024-07-24board: samsung: e850-96: Load LDFW firmware on board initSam Protsenko4-4/+149
LDFW is a Loadable Firmware which provides additional security capabilities in EL3 monitor. For example, True Random Number Generator (TRNG) block registers can't be accessed from EL1 (where U-Boot and Linux kernel are running), but it's possible to access TRNG capabilities via corresponding SMC calls, which in turn are handled by LDFW. To do so, LDFW firmware has to be loaded first. It's stored on a raw eMMC partition, so it has to be read into NWD (Normal World) RAM buffer, and then loaded to SWD (Secure World) memory using the special SMC call to EL3 monitor program. EL3_MON will load LDFW to SWD memory, more specifically to the area starting at 0xbf700000 (with size of 7.5 MiB). That memory area is reserved in device tree, so there shouldn't be any collisions. After that LDFW becomes functional. Implement LDFW firmware loading on board init. While at it, fix the copyright date in header comments, as this board support was actually added in 2024, not in 2020: it was probably a copy-paste mistake.
