From acaf7df610ff3faf1778ce40d601fc3dd4a41b40 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: =?UTF-8?q?R=C3=A9mi=20Denis-Courmont?= Date: Tue, 8 Mar 2011 22:44:11 +0000 Subject: Phonet: provide pipe socket option to retrieve the pipe identifier MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=UTF-8 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit User-space sometimes needs this information. In particular, the GPRS context or the AT commands pipe setups may use the pipe handle as a reference. This removes the settable pipe handle with CONFIG_PHONET_PIPECTRLR. It did not handle error cases correctly. Furthermore, the kernel *could* implement a smart scheme for allocating handles (if ever needed), but userspace really cannot.
