2014-09-17ASoC: max98090: Fix missing free_irqJarkko Nikula1-1/+1
commit 4adeb0ccf86a5af1825bbfe290dee9e60a5ab870 upstream. max98090.c doesn't free the threaded interrupt it requests. This causes an oops when doing "cat /proc/interrupts" after snd-soc-max98090.ko is unloaded. Fix this by requesting the interrupt by using devm_request_threaded_irq(). commit 25b4ab430f8e166c9b63f4db28e7e812d5a59396 upstream. Reset needs to wait 20ms before other codec IO is performed. This wait was not being performed. 2014-06-07ASoC: wm8962: Update register CLASS_D_CONTROL_1 to be non-volatileCharles Keepax2-3/+16
commit 44330ab516c15dda8a1e660eeaf0003f84e43e3f upstream. The register CLASS_D_CONTROL_1 is marked as volatile because it contains a bit, DAC_MUTE, which is also mirrored in the ADC_DAC_CONTROL_1 register. This causes problems for the "Speaker Switch" control, which will report an error if the CODEC is suspended because it relies on a volatile register. To resolve this issue mark CLASS_D_CONTROL_1 as non-volatile and manually keep the register cache in sync by updating both bits when changing the mute status. 2014-03-06ASoC: da732x: Mark DC offset control registers volatileMark Brown1-0/+12
commit 75306820248e26d15d84acf4e297b9fb27dd3bb2 upstream. The driver reads from the DC offset control registers during callibration but since the registers are marked as volatile and there is a register cache the values will not be read from the hardware after the first reading rendering the callibration ineffective. It appears that the driver was originally written for the ASoC level register I/O code but converted to regmap prior to merge and this issue was missed during the conversion as the framework level volatile register functionality was not being used. commit 9f6f0afbb9fdabf6dcac642dfec457f28981e3f8 upstream. The MC13783 Chip Errata, Rev. 4 says, that depending on SPI clock and main audio clock speed, the Audio Codec or Stereo DAC do sometimes not start when programmed to do so. This is due to an internal clock timing issue related to the loading of the SPI bits into the audio block. 2013-06-07ASoC: tlv320aic3x: Remove deadlock from snd_soc_dapm_put_volsw_aic3x()Andreas Irestål1-5/+5
When calling snd_soc_dapm_sync(), it eventually tries to lock the same mutex already locked in snd_soc_dapm_put_volsw_aic3x() and a deadlock occurs. By moving the mutex unlock to just before snd_soc_dapm_sync(), this deadlock is prevented.
